5 Shoes No Girl Should Own

Now, I will admit, once upon a time in 10th grade I may have owned a pair of these bad boys, but, I was 15. You are allowed to wear stupid things when you are 15. I really don't understand how this shoe is still on the market. It is completely ridiculous. How a person can stand on it and not fall down it beyond me. Its just very silly. The only use for it I can see is if you plan on dressing up like a "Spice Girl" for Halloween. If its height you are looking for, go for the classic high heel or wedge.

The Birkenstock. I mean really. This shoe just screams! "I was made for dude!" The shoe is not flattering, nor cute, and really lets face it, this shoe does not look good with any short of pants, skirt, or dress.
The Teva. Wow. I totally get this shoe if you are on some sort of river rafting trip, or if you plan to be gallivanting through a riverbed or something, but other then that, these are not acceptable for around the town wear. No way. Save it for the mountains!
Ahhhh the Croc my least favorite shoe of the bunch. What on earth was the person who designed these thinking. These shoes are only appropriate for children 10 and under. These shoes are not to be worn by adults. EVER. Also, just because they come in black, It does not make them a dress shoe. Save it for the kiddies.

The high heeled clog. Where to begin. I see people try to wear these all the time, and they just can't do it. They wobble, then eventually come tumbling down. Besides that they are far from fashion forward. I really just don't understand these.

I decided to include Hollisters version of the classic ribbed tank (aka wife beater) because not only are they an affordable price but they come in so many great colors! 16 different colors to be exact. These tanks are quite sheer and are great for layering. They are 92% cotton/8% elastane which helps them hold their shape.

The El Morro shirt is great for someone who is looking for a shirt with a casual T-shirt feel, but would like something a tiny bit fancier. The bronze detailing adds a fun sparkle with out looking to kitchy. With a scoop neckline and a longer cut, this is a shirt that is appropriate for all ages and flattering on lots of different body types. Made of %100 cotton, make sure to wash inside out and lay flat to dry. Otherwise, all the detailing could be ruined the first time you wash it.Comes in dark brown(pictured) or light grey

*A few things to keep in mind when shopping at Hollister:
Hollister sizes tend to run all over the board and NOT true to size at all. So if you have a Hollister near you, I suggest going to a store to try on the clothes before buying.
*Hollister targets a a younger age demographic so if you are over 25 consider if what you are buying is age appropriate. (Aka if you are a 40 year old woman, please don't buy a tiny tee with Hollister logo stretched across your chest.
*Hollister shirts hold their color and shape much longer if you wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle.
